Vanishing Phone Mystery — A Spooky Encounter
A wild night out, a missing phone, and an eerie twist that defies explanation!
On a Saturday night, me and my friends were getting ready to go see the opening act at a local bar’s music night. We lost track of time and realized we had to leave immediately so we wouldn’t miss it.
In a hurry, I grabbed my wallet and keys, and we ran out of the house and got into my car. Luckily, we got to the bar just in time to see the show. After a few drinks, I patted my pockets, and to my surprise, my phone wasn’t there. I checked all my pockets and asked my friends if they had seen it, but it didn’t turn up.
They helped me search the bar around all the tables and the areas we went to. Eventually, we gave up and tried calling it from one of my friends’ phones. After two rings, someone answered the phone. “Hello?” I said. They didn’t speak, but we could hear them breathing on the other line. After a few seconds, I started talking again, but they hung up.
I was frustrated that someone had stolen my phone, but I figured I’d take care of it tomorrow as it was getting late, and there was nothing I could really do about it right now.
About an hour later, we left the bar, and I dropped my friends off at their houses and headed home. While driving, I was thinking back to the last time I had my phone on me. As I pulled into the driveway, I realized I last had my phone on the bed when I was getting ready to leave.
The more I thought about it, the more I started to get creeped out as I got out of my car. I went to the front door, unlocked it and walked inside cautiously. I slowly made my way over to the bedroom and turned on the lights.
Sure enough, my phone was right there on the bed where I thought it was. I searched the whole house for signs that someone had been there, but I didn’t find anything. That night I had trouble sleeping because every little noise made me uneasy.
I told my friends about it the next day, and they all agreed it was creepy. Ultimately, we decided that calling the cops probably wouldn’t lead to anything, so we just left it at that.
The rest of the years passed without anything else happening, but I still wonder what really happened to my phone that night.
